Hey, Sajjad here.

I am a U.S.-based writer of Pakistani origin. Though I now proudly host backyard barbecues in Virginia with my wife and son, I grew up sharing a plate of biryani in Lahore with a family that no longer exists outside the frame of nostalgia.

My work has previously appeared in the short-story anthology The Road Not Taken and will be featured in the forthcoming anthology Flight 645.

Forget Her Face is my debut novel and explores the divide between the life we live and the one we remember. It is part of a larger body of work circling similar themes and rooted in the culture and lore of Pakistan. More novels in The City of Lost Light series, along with other works, are forthcoming.
